The government has announced a lockdown from Thursday 5th November 2020 to Wednesday 2nd December 2020.

As an essential service business, we will be operating as normal during this period following strict government guidelines to ensure we are protecting our staff and our customers. 

All of our services are operating normally this includes:

Online Auctions

We have made some important changes when collecting vehicles from our Poole and Rugby sites:

• Please ensure that your vehicle is paid for in full, prior to your arrival on site. Until further notice we are NOT taking any payments at site.

• Vehicle collections can only be made once you have contacted the site holding your vehicle to book a collection slot. Arriving on site without a confirmed slot will result in a failed collection.  We do this as we have collections being made by customers from all over the UK and we want to limit the chance of spreading the infection.  If we book collections, we can make sure the collection area has been cleaned prior to the next collection being made.

COVID-19 Update: Thursday 16th April

We have been working hard behind the scenes to adapt our range of services and ensure safe workspaces and visiting areas for our team and you, our valued customers. Q. Why are you taking the decision to re-open?

A. We provide services that are helping keep Britain’s key workers moving during these unprecedented times. After taking the time to close, take stock of the situation and impose strict social distancing measures, we have taken the decision to re-open, albeit adapting our services offered significantly.

Q. Why have your staff been classified as key workers?

A. Our services are required to keep our key workers moving. This includes NHS staff, teachers, social care workers, delivery workers, supermarket staff and all other key workers we are relying on in such unprecedented times.

Our garage customers remain open to provide critical support to key workers and we are needed to supply them the parts required to complete their jobs.

We are immensely proud of every single member of Team Trents, as they are doing a truly incredible job of keeping Britain’s key workers on the road during this COVID-19 crisis.

COVID-19 Update: Tuesday 31st March

Stay home, stay safe and get the parts you need delivered to your door.

Whilst our front counters remain closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is still possible to order car parts from us via our online store.

Fast and free next working day delivery comes as standard for all parts delivered to UK Mainland addresses. International parts delivery is also available.

Every part sold also comes with a free warranty for all important peace of mind.

COVID-19 Update: Thursday 26th March

We have now temporarily closed our sites and stopped operations and services to protect the health of our employees and valued customers and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We plan to re-open our sites on Friday 1st May, but this may be sooner if the government advise this is possible.

It is still possible to order parts through our website, but please be aware that we cannot dispatch any order until we re-open.

We want to say a heartfelt thanks to every single member of Team Trents. We are fortunate to have such a skilled and dedicated workforce, who have been working amazingly hard under such uncertain circumstances.

COVID-19 Update: Monday 23rd March

In the interest of protecting the health of our employees and you, our valued customers, we will be temporarily closing down all Charles Trent Limited operations and services from 5pm Thursday 26th March until 5pm Thursday 30th April, or earlier under government advice.

Our front counter and tyre bay services are now closed.

Our vehicle collections service remains open until 3pm on Thursday 26th March.

Our full staff will remain on full pay whilst our sites are temporarily closed.

COVID-19 Statement: Tuesday 17th March

As the news about COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its unprecedented effects evolves, we’re learning that being informed and prepared are essential. Thus, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the UK Government and taking the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our customers, colleagues and employees.

As this is an emerging, rapidly changing situation, I wanted to personally reach out to you and provide an update on the actions that Charles Trent Limited is taking to help protect our employees and customers.

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday 18th March), we will be maximising social distancing by instituting a work-from-home policy for a significant number of our employees. Anyone working from home is equipped with the technology and tools to fulfil operational capabilities remotely.

Staff essential for continued operational and production needs will remain in place. With a fully functional customer support team, there are no current changes in our shipping and logistics capabilities. We will also be closely monitoring our supply chain. Our goal remains to continue providing our customers with the products and services.
