We offer next-day express delivery on all parts across mainland UK. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and UK Islands will be on a standard service. Once you’ve added a part to your basket and entered a delivery address, you can select your preferred delivery option. All orders to BH postcodes received free delivery.
For parcel deliveries, we use DPD or DHL, and you will receive a tracking number via text message and email once your item has been shipped from our distribution centre.
For larger palletised goods, such as engines, gearboxes, and doors, we use our own van network or trusted delivery firms such as Eatons and Parcelforce . These items are available for express or economy delivery, with tracking details provided once they are dispatched.
We ship all goods, except EV batteries and airbags, to Europe. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. If a shipping price is not available for your country in Europe or beyond, please contact us for a quote and available shipping options.
Body Panels: All body panels come with a lifetime warranty. Scratches are not covered. Body panels are supplied as bare units, wings, boot lids/tailgates, any ancillary components are not covered as supplied free of charge such as sensors, door handle.
General Warranty: All used parts come with a 12-month warranty, except for the following:
Engines and Gearboxes: 3-month standard warranty, with an option to extend as outlined in the "Warranty Options" section.
Tyres: 3-month warranty, specifically for tread wear.
Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Batteries: 3-month warranty.
A replacement or refund will only be issued upon presentation of the original invoice, and returned goods must be in the same condition as supplied, with all security marks intact. Missing parts or damage may result in a deduction or void the warranty. A replacement part will be dispatched after the faulty part is returned, unless otherwise stated by us. We do not reimburse any labour costs unless an extended warranty with labour coverage is purchased.
Installation Requirement: Engines and gearboxes must be installed by a certified, qualified mechanic. Installations by private individuals are not covered under the warranty.
Engines and gearboxes are sold as bare units, excluding components, ancillary parts like water pumps, belts, turbos, injectors, sensors, and modules are provided free of charge and are not covered by the warranty. A new clutch kit must be installed when fitting a gearbox. To submit a warranty claim, proof of purchase for timing kits and approved engine/gearbox oil is required.
Failure to provide receipts will void the warranty. Receipts must be clear and legible. Before installation, a thorough inspection of the vehicle is required to rule out unrelated issues. Warranty claims must be supported by diagnostic reports, videos, and images of the faulty part, which will be reviewed by the seller. If the issue is due to overheating, lack of lubrication, neglect, or failure to follow manufacturer's guidelines, no replacement or reimbursement will be provided. Faults caused by components not supplied by us are not covered.
Any belt, pulley or pump driven via the cambelt must also be changed when replacing the cambelt. (this should include and is not limited to cambelt tensioners, rollers, water pumps, oil pump belts and guides). ECUs and electrical items are non-refundable due to potential damage from incorrect installation or vehicle faults.
Non-Transferable Warranty: All warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser listed on the invoice. The vehicle registration on the invoice must match the part being claimed. Charles Trent Ltd reserves the right to inspect any part claimed under warranty before approving a replacement.
3 Months Standard Warranty: Included with all engine and gearbox purchases.
6 Months Warranty (+10%): Available for an additional 10% fee. The new part will be covered by the same 6-month warranty. No labour coverage included.
12 Months Warranty (+20%): Available for an additional 20% fee. If a replacement is necessary, the replacement part will also be covered under the same 12-month warranty. No labour coverage included.
12 Months Warranty + Labour Cover (+25%): Available for an additional 25% fee. It covers 12 months of warranty, including labour costs for repairs or replacement. Labour cover only applies to the original purchase. The replacement part is covered under the same 12-month warranty, but further labour costs require additional payment.
To initiate the labour cover, an invoice from Charles Trent Ltd detailing labour hours and parts replaced must be provided. The job must only be carried out with prior agreement.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover the following: Gaskets, oils, seals, cam belts, timing belts, fan belts, injectors, turbos, sensors, or any ancillary parts. Engines must be serviced and inspected before installation as ancillary components are not covered.
Glass is not covered.
Misuse & Improper Fitting: Damage caused by misuse, improper fitting, neglect, accident, or continued use is not covered. Parts that have been incorrectly fitted, dismantled, or tampered with (except for standard service parts replacement) will not be covered.
Inspection Upon Delivery: All deliveries must be inspected at the time of delivery. Any damage must be noted, and items should be either rejected or signed as damaged upon delivery. Damage must be reported within 24 hours with images of the damage, courier labels, and packaging. Delays in reporting may reduce the likelihood of a successful claim.
All safety-critical parts must be fitted by specifically trained automotive technicians. We accept no liability for malfunction, damage, or injury resulting from improper fitting.
Parts correctly supplied and returned are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
All warranties are non-transferable.
