COVID-19 statement: 17th March 2020

As the news about COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its unprecedented effects evolves, we’re learning that being informed and prepared are essential. Thus, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the UK Government and taking the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our customers, colleagues and employees.

As this is an emerging, rapidly changing situation, I wanted to personally reach out to you and provide an update on the actions that Charles Trent Limited is taking to help protect our employees and customers.

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday 18th March), we will be maximising social distancing by instituting a work-from-home policy for a significant number of our employees. Anyone working from home is equipped with the technology and tools to fulfil operational capabilities remotely.

Staff essential for continued operational and production needs will remain in place. With a fully functional customer support team, there are no current changes in our shipping and logistics capabilities. We will also be closely monitoring our supply chain. Our goal remains to continue providing our customers with the products and services.

Charles Trent Limited is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees while also providing our customers with the high level of service they are used to. We appreciate your understanding that, as a customer, your TRENTS experience, may look a little different as we navigate this time together. Rest assured, even with the changes in place, TRENTS is prepared to sustain operations now and over the long-term. We are committed to delivering the exceptional products and service you expect and that we’ve upheld for the past 94 years.

Our senior leadership team will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic daily and communicate with you on any additional changes that may occur.
