As we continue to expand our salvaging business we are looking for enthusiastic likeminded people to help us deliver industry leading performance. There will be a requirement to complete routine paperwork and to ensure that all deliveries and sent out safely, securely and appropriately to the correct location.

Job Purpose:

The successful Warehouse Operative will be responsible for despatching and receiving vehicle parts, carry out basic quality checks and ensuring stock of parts are maintained in an orderly fashion. There is a requirement to complete routine paperwork and to ensure that all delivereis are sent out safely, securely and to the correct location.

Job Requirements

  • Ideally GCSEs (A* to C) in English, Maths
  • Literacy and numeracy skills

Skills required

  • IT skills
  • practical skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • taking delivery of goods and storing them
  • checking for damaged or missing items
  • moving stock by hand or with machines
  • packing and wrapping goods
  • loading goods for sending
  • keeping stock records
  • cleaning the warehouse
  • Manual handling

Working hours, patterns and environment

  • Monday-Friday 42.5 hours a week
  • You'll work in a warehouse.
  • You'll wear protective clothing like overalls, high vis
  • Manual handling and heavy loading

Other Information:

  • A counterbalance FLT licence would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Passion for the in automotive industry

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £16,000pa-17,000pa
