Vehicle Technician             

Love cars? Like working outside with a great team? We are hiring a Vehicle Technician for our Run & Test Department.

Job Purpose: You will contribute to the profitable success of the site by ensuring quality standards are maintained in handling and storage of spare parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing the viability of mechanical and electrical components from vehicles
  • You will create video evidence of tested engine systems and be able to diagnose cost implications whilst maximising the value of parts
  • Responsible for inventory of identified parts and the input of data through an established database to be processed by our Workshop
  • Responsible for maintaining stock levels and identifying potential new products lines to increase productivity
  • Responsible for knowledgeable of Health & Safety compliance and be able to work to recognised processes and procedures
  • Responsible for responding to the needs of the business by undertaking other tasks which may be requested by your Line Manager on occasions, which may not be included in your specific job role but reflects general nature of the role and business

Our ideal candidate will have a good general education, be IT literate and have a proven knowledge of modern vehicle management.

Required Education:

  • Secondary Education (ideally)

Required Experience:

  • Vehicle Maintenance: 1 year or 2 (NVQ Level 1)
