Company History

Charles Trent Ltd. was established as a scrap metal dealer in Poole, Dorset, by Charlie Trent in the 1920s.

Today the company still operates under the same name and remains a family concern. Charles Trent Ltd. now operates from 5 main locations with the head office remaining in Poole.

Whilst the company is recognised as a market leader in the processing of End of Life Vehicles this does not represent its main business. This is generated from the sale of damaged (salvage) vehicles and spare parts.
