Trents took a visit down to day 2 of the inaugural Bournemouth Wheels Festival this evening and took witness of one of the coolest motocross tricks to grace the town in history.
Dan Whitby, a former Britain’s Got Talent contestant was pencilled in to jump and clear the iconic Bournemouth Pier on day 1 of Wheels Festival but his efforts were cancelled due to safety fears. However, today with the sun shining and tons of people far and wide screaming his name he was able to attempt the almighty feat with numerous people awaiting the result with baited breath.
Not only did Whitby bring the house down with his first successful jump he also completed it a second time with more flair (a no handed superman nonetheless) as he didn’t want to let the crowd down with what he considered a bad landing on the first successful attempt.
Check out his second awesome attempt below:
Wheels Festival has brought motoring to the forefront for residents of Bournemouth & Poole and visitors from far a field encouraging a new crop of enthusiasts to emerge. Long may this festival continue and hopefully next year we will see sunshine over the entire weekend!
