And you thought YOU were having a bad day!
The owner of the wrecked Ferrari F50 (pictured below) will surely be crying himself to sleep this evening after colliding with a lamp post and causing serious damage to his £850,000 super car.
The F50 comes with this eye-watering valuation as it is one of only 349 ever made to mark 50 years of Ferrari. It is capable of reaching 202 mph and goes from 0-60 in just over 3 seconds. It’s no wonder that with all this beastly performance available that now and again they end up involved in accidents. A quick look on Google only supports this!
The rare super car powered by a 4.7 litre V12 engine was involved in a collision with a lamp post earlier this morning on the A43 near Brackley in Silverstone. This area is renowned due to its closeness to the Silverstone Circuit for having many rare and highly desired cars pass up and down its roads daily.
It is reportedly Britain’s most expensive car crash ever due to the ever increasing value of each F50 that remains on the road. It will take some work to repair the back end which causes great concern as its engine is famously placed in the rear of the car. Some salvation can be taken as the front end remains intact. The car’s fate is in the hands of the insurance company and we’re very interested to see how this develops.
